Our approach

What is STEAM?

STEAM is a multidisciplinary approach to learning that combines Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics to guide student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking.

The approach aims to help students develop a unique set of skills such as successful problem solving, experiential learning, and teamwork. These skills will not only allow our students to be the innovators, educators, leaders, and learners of the 21st century!

What is design-thinking?

Design thinking is a method used to solve problems with innovative solutions.

The design thinking method creates dynamic thinkers. We believe that by learning this method from a young age, our students will integrate the valuable process into their future.

What is project-based-learning?

Project-based learning is different from traditional classes. With project-based learning, children are active in their learning, by participating in hands-on projects instead of simply following teachers' step-by-step instructions.

They develop soft-skills that are essential to evolve in today's professional world. They learn to be great communicators and problem solvers through group work and real experiences.

Project-based learning activities:

  • have a challenging question or problem
  • are authentic: projects are real and show the application of content
  • initiate frequent reflection
  • engage students in peer and self-critique
